Epicurious is an online food blog and Youtube channel. Their content includes cooking videos and challenges that keep in mind all levels of food knowledge. They emphasize the joys of cooking and provide accessible resources for all food lovers and at home chefs.

The objective was to create a branded system that implemented motion graphics into a digital streaming service. Epicurious produces content that is catered towards a wide range of audiences. Fun videos of amateur vs. gourmet chefs, informational videos about all types of cheese, etc. However they are lacking the visual identity that displays the bright and playful side of cooking and learning.

To create a visual identity that reflects Epicurious’ ability to teach, entertain, and spark interest in a wide range of audiences. The approach was to balance visuals that are in line with their editorial magazine with a voice that is youthful and approachable.
Epicurious is a one stop shop for any cooking resources, recipes, and guides. The minimal expanding word mark references filing through an extensive collection of recipe cards.
